Whenever we are given the privilege of partnering with a company, we want to provide more than a template or cookie-cutter approach. We want to understand the specifics of your message and goals in order to provide a solution that works with the content and engages your audience.

Step 1. Complete a Questionnaire

To help us understand the specific needs and goals of a project the first step is for you to fill out our questionnaire. We recognize that not every project is best served by a brochure. However, after reviewing your responses, if we determine that a brochure would help your message, the next step would be a start-up meeting to go more in-depth.

Step 2. Start-up Meeting

This meeting can take place in person, phone or video chat. The purpose is for us to ask questions about the specific needs of your project, as well as get an understanding of your audience and the results you are wanting.

Step 3. Concepting

Once we have a clear picture of message and purpose, then we begin concepting a cover and inside spread using content you provide. If you don’t have copy for us to work with we can use placeholder copy, however, we would need to have clear direction about the amount and type of content.

During concepting we explore multiple options regarding fonts, format, graphics and color. Using the goals for the project as a guide we determine the strongest solution and that single concept is presented to you.

Step 4. Presentation

We present this single concept to you and walk through the decisions for each element. We believe it is our job as the professional to find the best solution, which is why we do not finish the concepting phase until we have found a single solution that solves the problems identified at the start-up meeting.

After reviewing the concept with you, we would discuss any concerns or questions prior to layout of the entire brochure. We do consider this an important step in order to make sure that all issues are being addressed and whether or not there are any adjustments that need to be made.

Step 5. Layout

We take the feedback and discussion from the Presentation and layout the entire brochure. Once the brochure is complete it is sent in a PDF format for you to review and proof-read. At this time, we would also be discussing and reviewing paper samples and possibly working with a mock-up to get the full experience of interacting with the brochure.

Step 6. Edits

Next step would be to go over any edits that are needed for the brochure. Even the most polished text may need a tweak once it is seen in a layout. Minimally we expect to do one round of revisions, but no more than three rounds.

Step 7. File Prep

Once the final pdf has been approved, we then prep the file for production and work with the selected print vendor to make the brochure a finished piece.

Let’s partner together to make sure your message isn’t compromised by a low-quality brochure.
